ROBERT A WILLIAMS
Ladies and gentlemen, please give a big round of applauses to our official junior barrelman!
Straight from Robertsdale, Alabama. He is the coolest 5 years old on the planet. We are incredibly happy and honored to have him as the official mascot of the Pro Rodeo Productions.
*** Watch him in action in 2021 ***
... ''When he was just 3 and a half, I took him to his first rodeo here in Robertsdale. As luck would have it, one of my friends, T.J. Williams, was the clown that night. I have known TJ for years as one of my car auctioneers but had no idea that TJ crowned and announced rodeos. Kenneth met TJ that night and thought he was funny, and TJ called him out and picked on him in front of the crowd a few times and eve. allowed him to come into the arena with him for a few minutes. Kenneth thought that was the greatest thing ever and that is what began his interest. Fast forward to around March of 2020...we had a rodeo scheduled here in Robertsdale and I had purchased tickets for Kenneth and I to go. I called TJ to see if he was going to be here and he said no, but his good friend Tim Lepard would be. TJ told me all about Tim and his show and said he was going to reach out to Tim to see if Kenneth could meet the monkeys. Tim called me the day of the rodeo and said for me to bring Kenneth over about an hour before the rodeo and he could meet him and the monkeys. That particular night was almost canceled... Our governor shut everything down. Luckily, our city government allowed the rodeo to go on and the rest is history. Kenneth met Tim and the monkeys and immediately decided that being a rodeo clown was his dream come true and would be fun. Kenneth enjoys making people laugh. He has such a huge heart and loves people and is a natural leader. He just turned 5 this past October...he is shy at times, but once he realizes that he's in a safe environment and nobody is going to let anything bad happen to him, he lights up like a bright light and goes 'til he drops. Kenneth wanted to be a rodeo clown this past Halloween and I sent his pictures from that night to TJ and Tim and they loved it! Thanks to Tim Lepard for letting me know about your event in Oxford. Kenneth wanted to dress up for Tim because he thought that "Mr. Tim might need me to help with the monkeys." Tim had no idea I was going to dress Kenneth up because Kenneth wanted to surprise him. We drove 6 hours to be there and he hasn't stopped talking about it yet. Between the encouragement from TJ and Tim and the opportunity you gave him that night, I see a future in this for my son. He was so proud of himself and of course, I am too!''
